We created OneAct because we saw a pressing need for a better way to drive meaningful, lasting change in our society. Despite the immense technological progress of recent decades, the most critical issues facing our communities - quality education, economic fairness, climate change, and many more - remain stubbornly stuck or are worsening.

As users ourselves, we felt powerless to make a real impact through the existing social platforms. Those platforms often leave us feeling overwhelmed, angry, or trapped in echo chambers - but not empowered to learn, dive deep into specific topics or take action. We believe that real change comes when dedicated, courageous individuals come together to learn about and tackle problems head-on.

That's why we built OneAct - to cut through the noise and provide a simple, unbiased space where you can dive deep into the pressing societal challenges that matter the most.
